Superbad.

Some pretty funny stuff here but I'm not sure yet. I'll watch it again now.

"Can we shoot at it?"

"I don't know [hands gun] can you?"

I love it when they talk about the production value of porn haha.

They Live.

This really surprised me for being a John Carpenter flick, but it was really good. On the surface, it's a simple sci-fi action/black comedy; but deeper down it's a satire of consumerism and an analogy for the growth of the rich class and the oppression of the common people.

I particularly liked any shots shown from the perspective of the sunglasses: the black and white film added a touch of classic noir horror reminiscent of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.

Another favourite of the movie was the ridiculously long fight scene in which Roddy Piper tries to convince the black dude to wear the sunglasses. Although it is shot as being a tough, serious and gritty punch up, the number of times both guys keep getting up from horrendous beatings is nothing short of comical, and I was cracking up.

For anyone that didn't catch it, Mike upped this movie to the VIP, and I strongly recommend it to everyone here: I honestly believe it will appeal to you, no matter what your tastes.

I just dont like films where I need to apply more than one of my senses. Like trying to watch and read at the same time.

Unless I'm being blown or something, that's fine by me.

Oh well yeah it's not like I'll refuse to watch foreign films or anything, but finding out it has subs is like finding out you have to wake up in the middle of the night to gag the abductee again.

Annoying, but necessary.
