The ''Last Movie You Watched'' Thread

Thought this was pretty awesome to say the least. Not over-the-top scary but there were a good few creepy moments. For anyone who's seen it, the bit where he's yelling for help to that guy out of the window was one of my favourites.

John Cusack had to carry this movie since he was pretty much in every single scene and 85-90% of the time he was alone; and he had no problem doing that. Recommended if you want a really decent horror film, but don't expect a total mindfuck or shitloads of violence.

I thought the same thing, this one girl I know who has almost the same movie taste as me told me it was horrible when I wanted to see it in theaters, so I backed down, then I downloaded it and loved it. it's very different. which I like in horror movies. the same generic, main-stream, bullshit kinda bores me now.

I watched a bee movie last night, wasn't too bad actually haha.

I wactched bad boys the other day and feel asleep right towards the end so I missed the conclusion of the whole film when I woke up in the middle of the night and realised I got really pissed off slammed my head down and feel back asleep.

Resident Evil: Extinction.

This was average. I don't know what it is about the RE movies but they're missing the key spark that makes the games so crotch-rockingly awesome. They just don't "feel" right.

I disliked this because of it's sway towards "super zombies": the popular trend nowadays where zombies can run and are extra-aggressive. Now, this works in certain cases (notably 28 Days/Weeks Later) but to my knowledge there are no running zombies in Resident Evil yet. So to introduce them with some half-assed scientific reason seemed to me a little desperate.

Also, what the fuck was up with Wesker? Has ANYONE actually PLAYED the games? They do know that he's pretty much the most badass character there ever was, not to mention the main villain that fucks up yo' shit. We only got to see him as a hologram sitting behind a table. He's got such massive potential for a villain, it better not go wasted.

Alice, Milla Jovovich's character, is beginning to get on my nerves. She's the textbook example of deus ex machina. Psychic powers, martial arts skills, extra toughness, intelligence...christ, I was never afraid or on the edge of my seat because Alice was NEVER in danger. Not once.

Also, what was up with that ending? Please don't tell me the next movie is gonna feature an army of Alice clones attacking Umbrella. Because if so, I won't see it out of principle.

But you have to watch out, out of sexciple.

Edit: Forgot, last movie I saw The Twin Dragons. Fucking hilarious and action packed kick ass.

Maybe...I didn't think it was fantastic, but it's not bad for killing 90 minutes. Watch it if you can't find anything better (ie. American Gangster).

Why did no one warn me.

I saw No Country For Old Men again. Im pretty sure thats the first time ever in my life that ive seen the same movie twice in the theaters. Thats how epic it is.

I also saw Hitman - beyond fucking awful. Wanted to walk out after the first 20 minutes, seriously regretted that I didnt.

The Reaping... turned it off after the first 5 minutes. I dont have the attention span needed for shitty movies.

Fuck, I love the games so was hoping the film was gonna be quite good. What was so bad about it? Should I just download?

The acting was shit, same with the dialogue. Really really bad.

The plot was typical and boring as fuck.

The was hardly any violence...and the little violence it did have was really really weak.

For some reason Roger Ebert reviewed it better than The Mist... and I liked The Mist so I thought this movie might have at least something good about it. But it didnt. It was an all around terrible movie.

Seriously wanna see that after seeing the trailer last night.

I wanna see Pathology so bad as well.
