Just watched death proof with mono, really good film, loved nearly all of it, just wish they had put a little more of the fucked up editing style at the beginning in more or the movie, great ending as well.

Smoking aces. I was dissapointed, I heard it was good, but it wasnt really anything special. Nice set of characters and action, but plot was thin and you saw it coming. The way it was told wasnt good either. If you are bored, turn your brains off and watch it, the movie has no other purpose.

chauvunist opinions! Death Proof was fucking awesome! entertaining, funny and great dialogue.
the chracters and acting were terrible, minus stuntman mike.
Tarantino wasnt even using real actors for the most part. The New Zealand cunt was just some stunt woman he had used in previous films. And the dialogue was fucking retarded. The terrible acting behind it just made it all the worse.
They took the vintage theme too far. The audio drop outs and b&w cut ins/outs were dumb. The 70's film look was enough.
The story was shit. The ending was retarded. There was no violence except a 10 second death scene half way into the film.
