The Midnight Meat Train

This horror/drama movie starred Vinnie Jones(awesome) and a bunch of other semi-famous actors(bradley cooper, brooke shields and leslie bibb)It was pretty good... not very scary.. but vinnie jones was awesome and the movie was pretty good... if you dont like gore you dont want to watch this one...

The Omen(1976)

Gregory Peck is fucking awesome, pure magic. The party-trick that the nanny pulled at the begining of the movie was hilarious... I have to try that sometimes... really livens up the party.

The Last Supper (1995)

A darkcomedy/drama. Plot at imdb: "A group of idealistic, but frustrated, liberals succumb to the temptation of murdering rightwing pundits for their political beliefs." Starring a young cameron diaz aswel(no tits) ;P

it was alright... interesting in a socialpolitic kinda way but it was repetitive and a bit bleek... no meat on the bones... kinda boring... nothing other going on than them killing people who didnt think alike.

Same movies except for the last one

Midnight Meat Train - Quality movie with nice directing and pretty good acting. Falls into the gore category but it wasn't that gory as you'd expect, so it managed to keep the standard pretty high. I wasn't all too satisfied with the ending but 8p out of 10 sounds about right.

The Omen - Classic. I had only seen the remake prior to this and it seems as if it was done exactly like the original, scene by scene so it didn't bring me anything new. Damien was much more convincing in the older one so that's pretty essential when comparing the two. Watch this one first if you get the chance.

Scarecrows - A low budget horror movie from the 70s or the 80s? Hard to say because the picture quality was so bad, but it was actually pretty good considering how cheap it must have been. Also it makes one wonder why the scarecrow concept hasn't been used more often in horror movies. (Can I get a Coven?)

The Da Vinci Code - Cute tippy-toe adventure with Tom Hanks and Amelie(?) with a dull ending. I'm always very much interested in anything related to the Templars and the early history of the modern man but this movie didn't really satisfy my hunger for history like I had hoped. I hadn't read the book before.

hamlet 2- lots of laugh out loud moments. I suggest it, not amazing but a good comedy film. kind of campy, way more than I wished but it's still real funny.

ratatouille- best kids movie ever?

Slumdog Millionaire - Was awesome. Don't understand why so many people hated on it here. Fair enough you may think it was over hyped but I can't see any reason to really dislike it so strongly.

I didn't like it because I didn't think it was a good movie, nothing to do with hype.

Yeah, but why not?

Well from about 20 minutes into the film you already know exactly how it's going to end, which really doesn't help when you're trying to build up a tense finale. Not to mention the fact that because of this, the entire duration of the film fails to surprise with any of the 'gritty reality' of slums in India. Understandably the film has garnered a load of attention for being romantic and melodramatic version of Oliver Twist. But it's almost as though Danny Boyle only just remembered it needed a Disney ending after a few hours of establishing the devastating social-class conflicts.

Seems really confused and the Who wants to be a millionaire storyline wasn't necessary for the story he was trying to tell, on top of the fact the main woman tells him to fuck off but then realises he could win loads of money so then decides she's in love with him.

It's not for me.

that and the dance number at the end totally kills the mood for me

Rambo - Thought it was ball-crunchingly awesome, but it was over way, way too quickly. It was like 45 minutes of boring storyline about missionaries built up to 45 minutes of infiltrating a village, then the final battle at the end. It was like we said while watching it, they could have easily had the boat be destroyed in that battle, forcing a few survivors to escape through the jungle with Rambo, or SOMETHING. I just felt disappointed with a very early ending in an otherwise promising flick.

Stepbrothers - Absolutely loved it, best Ferrell comedy since Anchorman. The two leads are perfectly cast and play off each other like they really are brothers (with the looks to go with it). Every joke, no matter how small or subtle, is timed and delivered with precision and it really shows that Ferrell has a gift for making the mundane into childishly hilarious one-liners ("My head is spinning from the number of activities!"). I also liked how it broke the mold of his previous comedies of having some great guy experience a fall only to gain it all back again. I finished it and felt I could easily start watching it all over again.

Stepbrothers is one the best comedy films I've seen in so long. Watched it like 5 times now, haha.

Just caught Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers the Movie on tv. It was made of nostalgia and lulz.
They don't make stuff like this anymore, so sad.
