Desperate Living: One of John water's earlier movies. Not real good, but entertaining nonetheless. I still recommend Pink Flamingos for the true gross out.

Indeed, 4 pwned 2 though.... I don't know how anyone can like that movie, it was just filled with pathetic sex jokes.

The first was the best, me thinks.

defo it was so fucking funny I loved the matrix piss take when the scream dude couldnt get back up and the budwiser piss take too

Once Upon A Time in Mexico without the subtitles alot better then with.I loved it when Johnny Depp got his eyes ripped out made me smile.....asshole

I agree man, I saw it in the theaters, one of the best films of 06'.

I just got done with The Descent. Worst movie ever. The monsters weren't scary, and the ending was the most disappointing unsatisfying bullshit I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. Image file not present in the recovered backup

ha I really got into that movie, the monsters was very creepy, if you a girl stuck in a cave and there killing all your friends...whats not scary about that? one thing I agree on is the ended sucked, you have abit missing from the US version tho.

Oh yeah? Well do-tell man, what else happens at the end in the UK version? And as far as the monsters go, I admit they were freaky in the beginning when they were just shown in flashes and weren't displayed in great detail. But once they started showing them a whole lot I was sort of desensitized to them and wasn't really afraid of them all that much. They lost their impact once they were fully exposed. There's a lot more fear to something when you don't know everything about it. And that's what they had at first, but after a while they showed them so much and they seemed so weak and vulnerable when getting ravaged by the women that I didn't really see a large threat there. I mean, overall the directing was good and so were the actors, but the ending just sort of ruined the experience for me since it was so ambiguous. There was no closure or real explanation as to what they were.
That's what made The Hills Have Eyes so good in my opinion. Strong ending and valid explanation of everything. (Just for comparison to a good horror film to me)
