I know this goes for myself, GOMP, most of DR and some others.


I haven't got my results yet but I checked UCAS this morning and saw

Which means whatever I got is good enough to go on my desired course for uni. I'll update when I get mine later.

Off to school in an hour or so I guess.
I took Art, Philosophy/Ethics, Business, Government and Critical Thinking.

I didn't do my government exam though so I know I got a U...Ha, I'll edit my results in here later.

A Level;

Psychology: C (not bad considering I didn't go to the exam)
English Language: B
ICT: B

Becki got BCC
Ian got BBDD

mine are available now, but it's a 15 minute drive to college, im hoping they'll tell me over the phone.

ICT: C (Wasnt expecting any higher...maybe a B at a stretch so not too fussed about the C)

Media: C (Was expecting a B minimum as I had an A for the coursework, I must have fudged up the exam big time)

Photography: C (Exectly what I was expecting)

So 3, C's. Which aint too bad, but hten again it's nothing special. So im in a bit of a meh mood.

Rob here, Mike's round mine but says he'll 'edit his in later'.

Critical Thinking - B Couldn't believe it, some major guesswork went in to this exam.
English Literature - B Was expecting this, most enjoyed subject
Religious Studies - B Thought I might get a bit higher, but fuck it, a B is a B
History - A Couldn't believe it, thought it was definite C material
Classic Civilisation - C There is a story behind this. For my Greek Tragedy paper, half the exam's marks were given to an essay question about a book that our entire class had not been given to read. So we all guessed and got told the school would pay for a re-test, as they had fucked up big time. Now, I got a B in this paper, which was pure luck. And the other paper, which with revision was in my abililty to get an A in, I got a D. All in all, a very satisfying C there.

I am chuffed as fuck with these results.

Could someone explain what are A/AS level? After reading that topic it must be about some kind of exams.

yeah, You do GCSE's in High school, then you go into college. In your first year you do AS's (thats what I have just done) Then in your second year you carry on the subjects you did AS's exams for and take them too A level. Or do another set of AS exams.
