Get a proper one man, not a shitty Raynox clip on. It's worth the extra.

unless you have an HD monitor, HD tv, and plan on doing your DVD in HD ...pretty pointless to buy an HD camera. Wait for HD to become a standard before investing in equipment like this...unless youre l33t.

Oh we're leet.

When Dan bought this camera, we weren't really after the HD aspect of it, it just has a real nice picture quality to it and the size is great. We also wanted something with night vision. Any suggestions that match up to this model but aren't HD Weak?

If youre after the nightvision, stick with it. You wont find anything better with nightvision except maybe the DVC30...which I do recommend but its twice as much.
