My dad is getting a new laptop, and he asked me to find out what he should get.

He must have one thats compatible with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and I was wondering if its worth him getting a Mac?

If not, does anyone have any recommendations?

Then he needs a windows pc.

People are going to dissagree with me but I think Windows is better in mac in more ways. Sure, macs don't get virus's and they are alot better for graphic designing. Windows still owns everything else.

thanks, what kind of PC do you think? My dad had in mind a Toshiba (laptop). What do you think?

Dell or HP tbh.

Toshiba isn't really good actually. They are reasonable priced though, but so are dells.

yeah im on a dell laptop too, an inspiron 1150, but I have recently had to have it fixed due to a faulty hard drive and fan, both having to be replaced, but now I've got it back, its running fine, so I think you might be right on the dell laptop....

what model have you got?
