Actually, if someone could explain the attraction, in a serious and mature way, to all those bands, I'd be delighted to hear why peopel consider it to be good music.

I'm looking for Post Hardcore baz. Where they sing and scream.

one of my favourite bands is a local band, Sydney.

People like hardcore for one of two reasons:

1. Their friends like it, and being the tools that they are, they must like it too.

2. It's energetic, it's wild, you go crazy at shows, and it's an all around fun time.

Both are bullshit reasons, proper metal crap is shit....needless screaming and indistinguishable(Sp?) Riffs are a pile of shit! Ska rules!!! long live Ska!!!

Ska isn't exactly everyone's cup of tea either...and most metal riffs are awesome, and they're barely indistinguishable. I don't have a hard time earing out riffs, you might be thinking of grindcore or math metal. Ska is cool though, no doubt about that.

altho all bands in this genre are generic and overrated, I like the sound of some. to me it's the screaming and mellow chorus that I enjoy. you can't explain it to someone that doesn't like it to begin with, everyone has different taste. I like it, that's all that matters. same goes for tom, if he wants to ask for some recommendations, coming in here and naming something not even remotely close to subject while trying to be funny is a pretty lame thing to do, expecially just because you dislike the type of music.
