The Decent

Trizz and I went to an advance screening of this movie on tuesday.

The storyline was decent, Trizz said it was almost exactly like the movie "the cave"
It follow 5-7 girls who like to do the usual extreme stuff like white river rafting, base jumping ect.
They go into a cave to go exploring for a weekend, but after a cave in, they all start to freak, to make matters worse these creatures are stalking them.

I dont want to get too much into it as it is a decent movie and should be seen in theaters or downloaded.
However, due to the darkness of many of the scenes, I dont feel a downloaded version will be the best of quality.

I would have been satisfied if I paid 8 dollars to see it, some good gore, some nice scares, and the michelle rodrigez look alike was fuckin hot.

It wasnt amazing, no where as good as saw, but still a good movie nonetheless.

download version is perfect, it was released in UK like last year, so I have a dvd version burned. me and my girlfriend watched it a few months back, the ending pissed me off.

yeah its done well selling here for ayear so the US got to see it. I enjoyed it but not as much as dog soilders

Saw it a few months ago...theres the funniest scene in a horror movie for me, I found, about halfway thru but Im not sure whether to say what it is I dont wanna spoil shit for people.

Other than that I thought it was alright now I think back. The plot I thought was quite good but the way it was shot and the acting wasnt great Image file not present in the recovered backup

I liked it. It was entertaining. I didnt like the ending in the UK version though. I dont know if they changed that or not for the US version.

I didn't understand the version I saw because the end seemed to skip then skip back but I dunno if that was in the movie or whatever.

TD is a great film, Neil Marshall really proved himself again with this one. One of the best talents to come out of the UK for a long time.

Someone told me this got the "Goriest Movie Of All Time" award. Which surprises me, considering all the gory-as-hell-indies.

She makes it out and gets into her car, and speeds off, then stops for no apparent reason and begins to throw up outside of the window. Then she sits back up and the asian is in the car. She screams. And the movie is over.

oh thats shit! why'd they cut the real ending off? ok in the end what you just explained was a dream, she wakes up in the cave in the dark and is looking at her little girl in front of her sitting on a rock and she smiles and the camera at the side of both of them and zooms out slowing to some score music untill it the credits hits, meaning she didnt get out the cave and she died in there while she was dying she had the dream of getting out, so yeah. real ending, cant bealve they cut it off...it dont even add up like that.

I meant the one she fell into during the first attack. The one where she clocked her head on the rock. And when she woke up she watched them eat her friend?

My grandfather and I have deduced this movie is a chick-flick xcore.

Not only is there only one Male with lines (He's killed off in the first 10 minutes of the movie), but all the crawlers are Male, except for one. They were all blind, couldnt say anything smart, and crawled around on their bellies. The only chick crawler seemed to be able to see, could smell better, and could swim.

Fuck this movie.

I haven't seen it for a while, good idea to watch it again I think, but I don't think she passes out...

She has her dream/vision of herself escaping, but we cut back to reality. She's sat in the cave with her daughter who's obviously just a halucination. It's all about the descent of the mind.

Well then we Americanized another movie and took out the "thought-provocation", and turned it into another mindless gore film.

I thought it was good, except the bad ending.

I thought it was a good movie too, I saw the ending from the uk one with her not making it out in the end. Pretty sick when the chick broke her shin, other then that, Gorey I think not

the new ending is just the first half of the orignal ending

The version I saw had a screwed up ending that didn't add up with that dead asian bitch and the girl in the cave...?
