I know no one has seen it yet, because it has only been released for private viewing - but it is soon coming to DVD, and I have seen that netflix has it coming soon to their collection.

Download the trailer. The star is basically the innovator of Parkour/Free Running/etc. He made an action/thriller flick with what sound like an okay plot, in order to use his parkour in a full motion picture. It looks like a bad ass movie, and something that anyone who was interested in parkour would like. You can also look for it on youtube by searching for district b13. I'd post a link to that, but as of right now, youtube is down. Image file not present in the recovered backup

Check it out!

I saw this weeks ago, its not as good as Ong Bak though. The fights are nowhere near as good but the parkour stuff is cool.

I agree - Ong Bak was definitely a sweet movie. I have yet to see this though, so I won't make that call until I do.

aww shit.. I'm thinking american. I don't think it released here yet - and if it did then I got some information wrong. I forgot that since they are french they released all over europe first. Man it sucks to be american.

No mercy - you bought it off a foreign online store, or what?

^ I admit, the plot seems like it could leave something to be desired - but the concept of using a movie to show off some parkour sounds pretty cool. I had this idea a while back, with homegrown typed stunts - I think it would awesome if someone pulled together a mid to full length movie in which there is an actual plot, with a good story line - and they used their traning as homegrown stuntmen to pull it off. Especially if for scenes where more actors are required than the crew has available, and instead of recruiting you basically do a prank - and then all reactions are genuine. Could be cool.

But yeah... I saw this probably a month or two back, and was trying to track it down for a while - couldn't find it. I was going through my favorites when I posted this thread.

I saw this last week. The parkour stuff was really awesome but the movie as a whole was ok.
