I never really wanted this faceoff but when someone comes in here telling everyone they are top dog and that back in the day D2F was the best group going around what can you do.

I never said PE was the shit, we're just a bunch of dickheads running around making idiots of ourselves. Always have been.

What I do know though is that D2F was pretty far down the list of good groups back then, way below what they rated themselves so I hope if nothing else this faceoff proved they by all means werent the group setting the bar.

I'd even go so far to say Triple0 fucking owned them, and they have 1/4 of the stuff we have. Rolling down a hill in a fucking tyre?

I'd probably agree with you now that I have actually seen any of their clips. Of course, I would go so far as to say Triple0 fucking pwned you - on quality, not quantity.

Truth of the matter is - I said I was the best, because at CKF - thats what I was told. I didn't make it up. I came back here expecting a hearty welcome from old fans - didn't get it, and quickly had to go on the defensive. All I was trying to do was hype up some old memories for people that have been in the scene for a long time, and still remember us.

I'd still have to see more PE footage to say you are better than us - I still haven't seen that much - and what I have seen wasn't that funny. This faceoff vid wasn't all that impressive in my opinion. The clips were all used way out of context - aside from the very few stunts. I can't very well use clips from D2F skits in this type of competition - which is where the majority of our footage now is.

I admit - I've been looking back through a lot of D2F videos that I used to find hillarious - and a lot of it was even boring me - it wasn't until just before we stopped filming that we did anything that great at all (And for the record - shit tire was hillarious at the time. I don't care about your opinion, I was just having fun.). But I never filmed most of it intending to show it to anyone - and then Mr. Slick stumbled across CKF, and we decided to say hello. We were a pretty big hit - and whether you remember it that way or not, thats the way it was. We probably were not the "top dogs" of the entire scene (way to stretch that one out of context), but thats what a lot of people at CKF seemed to think for a while. So sue me for believing them that I had some good footage.

Yes, I based my entire belief system on what one guy told me. What do you think this is, the Vatican? There were votes held, etc. and D2F usually came out as the top group - not always, but often enough.

I'm not blaming anyone here. I'm the idiot who came in here with all talk. I know that. All I'm saying is I came back to the scene expecting my videos to be at least on par with most other people still around. I boasted and talked big to attract attention so that I could get any remaining fan base back up. When I first did it, I had several people saying "hey, don't talk shit about this guy - he was the shit back in the day" or something along those lines. This further enforced my expectation for when I released content.

I picked some piss poor releases to upload, and suddenly everyone is disappointed by the hype and gets all pissy. I then took a look at what there is out there in the community today - I gave some reviews - some were taken well, some weren't. Those that weren't somehow further decreased my standing - because for some reason, my opinion of funny or not upset people (even if it wasn't the owners of the clips - who for the most part seemed pretty thankful for a descent write-up; even if it wasn't all positive) because they thought I was picking on the people who have already secured themself a positive history on here - despite the disclaimer I put in all my posts that "This is just my opinion, and I realize its different from most of the homegrown community"

Then you jump down my panties because I make one stupid comment about having once been "top dog", and everyone gets pissy because I'm nailing on PE? All of a sudden everyone is saying I'm going around saying I AM "top dog"? Fuck that. I said no such thing - AND I apologized for my arrogance.

I was hated for a LONG time on CKF when I joined up and started challenging SCM the self proclaimed king. I fought all the time there, but eventually earned some respect. If the same doesn't happen here - big deal. Fighting on the net is like the special olympics - win or lose, you're still retarded. But like those mentally impaired kids with funny faces, at least I have fun doing it.

I understand what safety is trying to say. I can see where he is coming from and I really cant see how anyone can call him a sore looser.

On the other hand 42-0 is a pretty clear margin. And doesnt leave many ifs or buts.

I'll quit my bitching as soon as people quit bitching at me. I think thats a fair deal.

I'd just like to know if anyone has any real comments about the video, personally. I didn't put a lot of work (editing-wise) into it - because I'm working on a shat PC, and never did any editing to begin with. I spent most of my time tracking down and capturing masters footage. Either way - between waiting 10 minutes at a time for my computer to load a clip, sorting through 10+ hours of footage, and doing what little editing I did - it was a lot of work. I'd like to know if anyone has anything positive to say.

I love PE stuff.. and I actually think there were some things in it that weren't in the DVD.. but I gotta say elliot.. it was not a dope edit as you used to make. No sound from the clips.. and it didnt all really suit together.. it really didn't have the PE feeling. Kinda disappointing mate. I know the actual clips are good but this edit didnt do the clips right.

But then again.. your content is great. You have a lot of planned stuff.. cams from different angles.. great things to shock the public.. so it's hard to beat that.

Your camera quality was really poor and I didnt like the editing that much as well.. but still the content and editing suited better to eachother than Elliot's edit. As for the content... most of the shit was pretty random fucking around.. like that stuff on the ice (and the beginning with the slapping).. but there were some good things in it as well.. some nice flips (and jumping through the fire ring).. the fire stuff was ok and the Batman jump (or whatever you called it a few years back) is still cool But all in all.. hmm.. "alright" clip but nothing amazing.

Even though Elliot really disappointed me with his edit.. PE still wins. Their footage and way of doing shit is quite professional and a clip with (most of it) random footage can't beat that. Still D2F had some nice shit in it.

I voted pe but I liked d2f too. they had a couple things in there that surprised me. but pe made me lol.

I agree on the camera quality - I was thinking that myself going back through. We invested in that in like 2000 or so - DV was still really expensive, and we were poor (still not rich by any means) - we're using Hi8. We also have video from old VHS cameras. haha.

And you're also right - random fucking around. In fact, thats about all we ever did. We never planned anything - our footage came from just random spur of the moment "hey let's do this" type things. Flying Squirrel wasn't planned - it was a windy day and I said "I wanna learn to fly. Lets go to the sand pit" Hypothermia was just kinda random - we were venturing toward Mr. Clitoris' abandoned house (where the pool is) and I decided to walk on it, and then demanded an axe. After, I went car surfing (featured at the end of the clip) soaking wet. We just had a lot of fun, and filmed it.
