So he's giving the groups about $90 US each? Wow.. I thought it would have been at least $150 per group.

Yeah, just got an email saying that the DVD only made $3000 and because he's nice he's giving the groups $1000

The deal is 30% anyway so he's only putting in an extra $90 in the kitty (which works out to less than $8 per group).. Wow, what a nice guy, 8 bucks really makes up for all his lies.

He still hasnt released sales figures though, its not good just saying "oh, it made $3000" He needs to provide detailed statements of how he got to that figure and exact numbers. Thats what a royalty statement is but it seems he's trying to get out of more work.



So split among an average group of 5 people, each member gets a grand total of $18.

Does anyone find it ironic that the grand total a member will receive isnt even enough to buy one copy of the DVD from his site?

I wonder how much the total comes down to after you factor in DV tapes and the postage costs when you sent stuff in.

Hardly worth it. The groups would have made more selling their own DVDs via HGF and their own sites.

after reading all this shit I dont know why you would even want a vol. 2...unless it was put together by people on the forums. as far as moody goes...I know everybody had to sign a release form, but this is america. with enough signatures on a legal document he would have to take the dvd off his website. and with even more legal action im sure you could get the license from him. quite frankly im getting tired of constantly reading threads of lies and all that shit. another alternative would be to just suck it up, kick his ass off the forums, and not worry about it. its not like the dvd is paying for the mans life right now. you saw it yourself, its made about 3 grand...which in california adds up to nothing. he's not gonna make any more profit off of it than he already has. it just seems like everybody is beating a dead horse. you all know he's scum, and he knows he's scum. you'll never see michael moody's name on any high budget film, I can almost garuntee that. if you ignore the fact that he exsists by kicking him off here, and deleting his threads, your doing more than posting a thread ever will.

I'd hold off to do these until Moody actually supplies exact sales figures. At the moment all you're going off is Moody saying he'll give the groups exactly $1000 dollars. That sounds like a pretty rounded off number to me and I highly doubt its the right figure.

He's a proven liar guys, Id ask for proof of how he got to that figure of $1000 and not just take his word for it.

Well I figured Moody would never give us the sales figure, never work it out, and just be lazy and give the $1000. I am 99% sure no one will ever see the exact sales figures



How don't the figures add up?

Last I heard, groups get 30% of profits.

If Moody was to give out a total of a $1000 to be be split upon the groups involved, this would mean Moody has made a profit of roughly $3,300, which would translate into 165 DVD sales - which I strongly doubt he's made.

More importantly, to even get into the profit range...Moody would have to make a TON of sales to counteract the costs of getting the DVD replicated.

Moody hasnt made shit, and whatever he pays out is gonna be in attempt to stick to his word - which is beyond pointless at this point. Moody failed and I hope he loses a fuckload of money on this production.

He needs to realizes homegrown isn't for the mainstream and he needs to stop trying to commercialize it.
