Rather than speak on random articles pulled from the internet, I'll speak on experience.

I was 14 and at the beach with Tyler filming a video project for school. Twas my first encounter with a Brit. They were tourist. They were both around 50. All I said was cuss word or two while chatting with my friend and he overheard me. He told me too watch my language but I didnt and he flipped out on me. He kicked sand in my camera and tried to get in my face. He told me it was illegal to cuss in front of a woman.

Ive never seen anyone react so strongly to the words "shit" and "pussy". I've said "nigger" in front of blacks. I've said "faggot" in front of gays. I've said "piss cunt fuck shit" in front of Orthodox Christians. Did a single on of them flip out? Nope. Most turned the other cheek. But when I say "shit" and "pussy" while having a conversation with my friend on the beach, and some brit tourist couple over hears me...they go fucking ape shit and call up the police.

ooooohhhh fucking uptight brits having a cry because they were 20 feet away and managed to overhear me cuss. Its common for Americans to use vulgar language in public. Its not a big deal. But it was enough to make them wanna call the police. Typical fucking Brits right? Nope I'm not gonna make that generlization.

No denying it, frankly they should of known the US was alot more laid back and should obey their rules.... etc.

A lot of people around the world think that every American is the same Bible-banging, uneducated, Bush-Loving asshole. But it's so far from reality. Bush's approval ratings are at 37% and it just shows that the people don't agree with him and his party's views at all. And like it was said earlier, a lot of the people doing the bitching about this magazine were right-winged Republicans (Bushies) worried about "indecency" and their children glancing at a breast, and if God would punish them for liking boobs. But that's far from the majority. Just look at American TV shows. Look at the most popular cable network, Comedy Central and look at the socio-political views of any of their shows. America is not Jesusland. Just the people in control right now want it to be.

I would stay and argue, but I have Vacation Bible School at 5 and tonight I get to learn about why gay people need to burn in Hell and Brits don't like us :-(
