Bumfights 4 - Out Now

uhhh...arent you the one who always goes on about how Bumfights 1 is best? You do realize that Bumfights 1 is loaded with footage they bought right?

and didnt you go around last year trying to get groups to submit footage to Indecline for their homegrown project? If you're not down with people making DVD's out of other people's footage, then why would you help Indecline recruit groups for such a project?

I had a comeback for all those points, then I remembered they pay Andrew Reynolds a salary (and since he has been voted SOTY more then once it must be pretty hefty) so yeah they must be making mucho cash.

maybe 6months was a long time and all the hype dyed down,people stopped checking the site because it just seemed like it wasnt going on sale. I know I was checking over n over. but I think because BFK & Indecline had to work somethings out before hand is why it wasnt out sooner.

I really liked the way 3 was edited. it was packed with rare awesome footage and I hope this one is too but sounds like alot of HG clips will be included which is all good in my books,

I mean BF's is worldwide and everyone knows about it even if the later ones anit so known. most people who's seen bumfights has seen 1 and maybe 2, not alot have seen 3 but thats there loss.

the original title for this dvd afew months back was called 'the last chapter' as it was going to be the last one they made, I think they may have scraped that idea it seems....we'll see.

also just after 3 came out, they was planning 4 to be like a best of bums video but I think indecline didnt want to do that. so the project was scrapt due to copyright issues of footage ect.

yeah I liked bumfights one and I was under the impression the first one was all filmed by indecline. and if they bought alot of it, its not as cool to me as before.

and the indecline thing wasnt like that, it was going to be more my project, and hg's of course, and they seemed cool with that cuz I didnt want much of shit out of it. I was going to put it together and indecline puts it out. groups would get all the credit, they would of been portrayed however they want, and they would of gotten a good percent of the profits. (alot more then hgc) so it wasnt like they would "buy the footage" claim it as thier own. so I was and still am totally cool with that.

BF1 was 90% theres im sure of it, afew wierd scenes wasnt but that was mainly stuff near the end.

and im struck, how was the indecline hg stunt dvd going to be your project? because you asked some hg groups if they want to take part?

the only thing BF's is now, is mixtapes just using the bumfights name because theres afew scenes with bums and abunch of fights, I hope 4 has alot of hardcore fights in it. but if indecline didnt move on, it would have only been BF1 & BF2 with how they was originaly filmed and been alot better. 2 classics, but yeah the vol2 we got was stuff refilmed that indy had already done, got aload of new bums and crackheads and it didnt feel like a bumfights video at all just like a bumfights rip/off but hey nothing we can do, all we can do is enjoy what we got, I have a feeling BF4 wont have any footage of bling,rufus or donnie...and will just have them mack c the pimp and other randoms.

it really was going to be more my project then theirs.(I wouldnt of called it a stunt dvd, but w/e) I was doing more then jsut rounding up groups/footage, I proposed the idea, I was negotiating the terms, I would have to start my own company and get an LLC, just so I could do things my way and make sure it was made right, I was going to try and do alot of the editing, I was the middle dude for the groups and indecline, everything up to the films completion. and indelcine was going to do the rest. their production/my project.

only reason they were cool with it, is cuz if it sucked they could scrap it and I didnt want more then expierience, a credit for director or someshit, and money for a cheap new cam.

ok ruckus dvd then,but you was the middel man that wasnt needed it seems, you had nothing indecline couldnt offer there selfs on a bigger level.

I like the way its working with the groups & indecline right now. seems to be matching up pretty good with the groups getting the music, doing there own editing to make sure its done right and if not indy will do the rest for them. its on a nice level as its turning into a pretty smooth project from what I hear.

I look foward to it, alot of people have had the idea of a hg dvd, just no one had the know how/money to make it, ie why people went with moody. but look what that did.

this should be awesome for the hg scene as its got alot of the best groups in it and indecline are putting it out.

I really doubt that. I read in an interview that they put a "footage wanted" ad in the paper and thats where they got all those highschool fights....and that's what the DVD is mostly made up of.



I think its best that it ended up getting scrapped. No offense but I cant imagine you doing a good job as 'director' or 'editor'..

Thats why I wasnt interested in indeclines ruckus dvd. That wouldnt feel right. Indecline is still outsider to this scene and besides that, I dont want to support that kind of company.


Read few similar articles and I was unedr the same impression.

yeah some of the fights was submitted, as some have apeard in other dvds but in the bumfights documentary ryen said you'd always hear about fights that are going to happen in high school and he'd always have the camera with him always because of filming his skate videos ect, they tried to charge him with invergating fights from high school when BF1 came out because he admitted to filming some but they couldnt prove he provoked it, just like indecline vol 1 only had some of the fights submitted, others like the riot footage was filmed by him.

and also indecline made a vhs in highschool called 'indecline' some of the old less illegal footage was used in the indecline dvd, you can tell what scenes because the quality is hi8'ish looking

Ah, thats also true. I remember the thing he had camera allways with him. Yeah, okay should we do compromise and say bf1 was filmed by indecline 50-60%

haha I guess not. but half the groups in the "ruckus dvd" were prolly put intouch with indecline through me.
