How much longer till you reach a point where you're too busy to be an active poster on HGF?
Everyone's gonna move on eventually and grow up. I'd guess a good 50% of you wont be around in a year or 2.
As for me...as long as you guys are still around...I'll still be around. I dont even have a choice...I gotta run the place Image file not present in the recovered backup

Yeah, I'm starting to realize it now that many people who used to post here alot just have stoped.
I'm planning on staying here for along time. Have no plans to leave any time soon. I love HGF.
20 July 2006, 06:08 UTC#3
I just started posting again as a regular.
I was busy with football. Then fucking college applications and shit. But I'm back bitches.
20 July 2006, 06:08 UTC#4
I think the most realistic scenario is that a lot of the main posters will slowly start to detach from HGF as they enter college... and eventually the board will start to die...which will lead to the remaining members to move on elsewhere.
20 July 2006, 06:20 UTC#5
I think as long as this place is around I will post, its the only real site I actually take time to visit, other sites I go on are just like to see if anything has changed. Always somethign to do here.
So I'm with you on this Sean.

20 July 2006, 06:21 UTC#6
Werd to made.
As long as things stay interesting and drama free...ulink ckf... I will stay here.
20 July 2006, 06:23 UTC#7
I should be here till I move out of home nd have no internet. So a couple of years.
20 July 2006, 06:28 UTC#8
I don't see myself going to college honestly, and if I do I'll do what I always did in school.
The bare minimum, I'll probably be on HG during my classes (by then it the technology should allow me to go on the internet in class and shit).
As long as I film or do somthing film related (which I hope to do my whole life) I'll be on here, unless everyone else moves on I guess.
LOL might end up just being me, Weak, and Gman talking back in forth on the forums in the end.
20 July 2006, 07:27 UTC#9
I plan on going to college/university next year to study graphic or interactive media so I guess around that time Delayed Reaction as it is now will pretty much be over. Even so, I still plan on filming shit and I love this place way too much to leave.
20 July 2006, 07:45 UTC#10
At least till I move out but even then I will probably stay around.
20 July 2006, 07:45 UTC#11
I can't see myself here for much more than another year, who knows.

20 July 2006, 09:42 UTC#16
I'll probs be here for at least 2 more years as I'm going to tech school for that amount of time, but it's only two days a week...so I've still got lots of time to come here. After I graduate...I dunno, but I plan to still come here at least occassionally as long as these forums are still here.

I say once the people I like leave, I'll leave. unless I'm still a mod around that time. then I'll just gradually come in to delete porn spam threads. cause that's all I do, it's just the life of a mod.
20 July 2006, 11:51 UTC#24

Looks pretty sweet but I'm looking at going into a two foundation degree first, then doing a third year to have a BA Hons. I don't have the experience or suitable portfolio to go into an honourary course so it wouldn't be right for me

It's based on UCAS points mate, how many A Levels have you taken? I'd say you're at the level of a good second year student, a lot of the basic shit is covered in the first year.

I'm taking 4 A-levels and one AS.
One of those A levels will be a fail though because I didn't do the exam. So yeah, 3 A-levels and an AS.
I was sure a lot of colleges for graphics were based on an interview and portfolio?

Nah you would only need to show a portfolio/have an interview if you had shit grades or no A Levels. I think the pass mark is something like 240 points which is C C D, easy stuff
