when it comes to disliking something, can't it be more discreet than saying "they suck"?

hardcore is what you classify as constant screaming aka shit.
post-hardcore is what I like, in which it's screaming at parts, and melodic/normal singing at other parts. like underoath, or silverstein. prime examples. we all like different stuff, but you don't see me calling ska shit? maybe because I like ska as well. is that all you like?

Ahh. Well then I can stand some post-hardcore. I just cant listen to non stop vocal-beating. And I listen to a whole spectrum of music, mainly just the stuff that gets me pumped up and or dancing.

In my opinion, it is shit. I've taken the time to actually listen to a few songs my friends like that are like this, and I cant stand any of them. There's no rythm to screamo. Its fast, machine gun, then breakdown (which also has no beat what so ever).
I label this as shit, because I dont like it. I'm not saying you cant like it. I'm not saying that this is shit to you. I'm saying it's shit to me.
So let me rephrase without pissing anyone else off.
Screamo and Hardcore sound like shit to me.

Whether you like the music or not, people in hardcore bands still have amazing talent, probably even better musicians than those in Ska bands who stick to a set of powers chords and samey trumpet riffs. You may not like it, but there's still no reason to call it shit.
