DVD Decrypter
WinAvi Video Converter (convert straight from the disc, from .vob files to whatever.... thats how I do it)

I've used it for aages, its the best to use imo. :-)

Nope.
Thats why just using a simple video converter like WinAvi works.
Just browse for the .vob video files from the video_ts folder in your cd drive and convert straight too whatever, then all you need to do is upload.
I find it much easier.

You could always rip on with DVD Shrink and convert after.... if that will make a difference.

elliot try xilisoft video convertor and find a regerstartion code for it. it converts all file types to watever sou want

or total video converter.
imtoo dvd ripper is easy to use and rips dvd good to avi so you don't have to use up 4 gbs of space of vob files.

Put DVD into DVD Drive
DVD SHRINK - Copy whole disc/the vobs to HD so they don't have Macrovision protection on them.
VirtualdubMOD (make sure it's Mod, and it's free btw, Google it) - open vob....select compression (divx/xvid etc). Select any filters you want, audio settings (full mode).
File > save as avi...
