ok so basically we were a few under-numbered and had to make due with using 1 tripod and 1 not-so-good filmer. nonetheless we got everything in the shot in both angles, but both were quite a bit away, not as close as I would like. I know you can zoom in with an editing program (I assume Premiere or Vegas), I was just wondering if anyone knew how, or wanted to point me towards a good tutorial.

Never tried premiere or vegas, but I know you can do it with After Effects

pinnicle can do it but you loose quality

Vegas it's easy as fuck yates. I'll write up some info if needed, but honestly, the quality will suck huge dick.

In Vegas:
Right click anywhere on the video track>view event pan/crop.
From there you have all the deatails on the left, the screen on the right.
To zoom in decrease the square....
But yeah, as you zoom in the quality will go worse.....

I know you can do it with "Magix Movie Edit Pro 10" cos I used to use it.

no matter what you do it with there will be quality loss. the higher resolution the camera has, the more you can zoom in without it looking shit on editing.

both were 3ccd cams (dvc30 and gl2) so maybe it won't look too shitty.
still no one has posted a tutorial though?
