lol, we thought the same thing.
we went through 25 worth of mentos and diet coke before we found out.
ITS NOT MENTOS!!!! its alka seltzer.
its not right off the bat. but it's in our RANDOM video.

u just put the mentos into the coke and it just shoots out.. I watched a fat kid do this once and he got soaked
