Hollywood Blood Effects

Hey all

how would I go about making a blood pack that will explode on cue??
doing a small horror film and this will be of great help..


if anyone no's how I can do some blood effects on Prem Pro as well that would be great

A horro film using special effects for blood is a bad one. Go old school.

You can buy exploding packs online. And the explode when you push a button..or something like that. Its like a tube that pushes air into this tight package of stage blood, and it just pops.

and Mako.. almost all horror films use some effects just to inhance the blood flying from someones mouth after they have been beaten up

I dont know man, I think that making your own explosive blood effects is kinda risky. I've seen some shit on Discovery Channel about that stuff going wrong and seriously hurting the user. I would recommend that you buy them if anything.

steal ketchup packets and strap them in with tape on your stomac...layer them so it takes a punch or a stap to break...

Yeah, steal ketchup packets that are already avaliable for free at fast food restraunts, because the most realistic looking fake blood will be thick, dark red, and come out in globs.
