iv got a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV11E
my dads in Japan at the moment so he can get me a cheap Fish Eye lens..
Question is I dont no what size I need.. How can I fond out or can some one tell me???

Oh so the number after the circle with a line tells you which lens will fit ? I got 34 after it...that sound right?

34 doesn't sound right. Just get one of those raynox snap on lenses, should fit. I'm guessing it's 37mm, but I'm not positive.

TRV-255e Lens = 50mm Ø37
CCD-v200e Lens = 88mm Ø52
Which means what exaactly, I search for a lens with the Ø number and/or the mm's?

Right, I have some money now and im looking for a fisheye lens, which would fit my camera?
Im a complete n00b when it comes to lenses so can someone please explain everything, based on what I said above.

OK so just to clarify I search for a lens in which the MM number matches the MM number on the camera?
So the number after the 'Ø' has fuck all to do with it? lol

This thread hasn't clarified things for me...on my lens it has written 3.5-49mm 1:1.8 Ø34 What max aperature size should I be seeking? is it f/3.5 ? I have no idea about this sorry gaiz.
