I'm glad that justice will be served, that was sick what they did to that turtle. For their punishment they should be made to go through the same thing they put that animal through, they'll probably all get off with community service or some shit since it was a misdemeanor

Actually...they wont get shit. Only one out of the 3 were actually charged and it was with a misdemeanor. He'll more than likely get off with probation and community service.
This whole thing brings up a serious issue though, in terms of homegrown groups who film themselves committing crimes.
As it seems, this kid is being prosecuted purely based on video evidence. For all the police know, this could have been filmed over a year ago, in which case it would surpass the statute of limitations. There is no evidence of when it took place other than whatever confessions the kids make.
I have a serious problem with prosecutors making charges based purely on video evidence and no witnesses or testimony.
