I live within a two minute radius of a gas-station, awesome pizza shop, an awesome bakery, even more awesome food shops (6 to be precise...including one chicken and chip shop and two fish and chip shops), 2 pharmacies, supermarket/bottle shop, another bottle shop, pet shop, a doctor who gives medical certificates whenever you want, a costume shop, a dodgy asian store that sells illegal shit under the counter, and a newsagency. I got to for school man, none of the schools around here offer the course I want 
I know, it's gonna be hard, but I'll be back hopefully. I couldn't imagine living in any other area. I'm used to the people and places way too much. That, and it's affordable and not as scummy as the neighboring suburbs.
