amazing graphics and storyline, but def not worth buying. I'll be trading it for fable 2 soon.

Wait, if the graphics and the storyline were amazing, what makes the game not worth buying then? Terrible gameplay?

nah, in my opinion there's no replay value, I figured there were more things to play judging by what I read and etc. like unlockables and whatnot. but it's like.. dead rising. you move over with what you upgraded from the first play through, but nothing different to play. just the same shit. kinda like playing through a RE game or Silent hill game and getting a special gun or something, but it's the same play through. I judge my game buying on replay value, I don't like to buy games that you play once and never really touch again until you're bored like 8 months later cause you have no new games.

I was just telling him not to spend money on it if he's looking for something to play for a long period, however it's the longest game of the genre, like 20 some hours. but anyway, sorry for the way I worded it. this game in no shape or form sucks. it's scary as hell at some parts, and a great mixture of horror and action. true survival at some parts, limited ammo and etc. no hud, no down time to look at the maps and whatnot as well, everything pops up via hologram from your suit. so you're always cautious. pretty sweet idea. and the game also has a great atmosphere to it, expecially if you have surround sound.

there's a few sketchy areas tho (no glitches from what I have seen tho, which is surprising) but for example, the camera placement for 3rd person is rather nauseating at first. but you get use to it. there's a few other things, but you'll end up noticing them, nothing worth mentioning tho.

but anyway.. like I said, amazing graphics, lighting, everything in that area. as well as storyline so far it great as well. EA really didn't suck this time. I don't think anyone would be ashamed to own this one, unlike many other EA games lol. I'm just upset that I didn't get fable 2 first. I wanted to rent this, but also wanted to play it really bad so I bought it cause all my rental places were out of the game.

I have a modded 360 so I wouldn't be paying for it, I just don't like wasting my time.

I hate it when people judge games based on replay value. Most games are meant to be played one time through and that's it. That's just the way the genre is. There's always new games out there.

Also, Bioshock was way longer than 20 hours.

why would you hate someone judging a game based on that? that kinda offends me, and why should it even be a concern for you? you're playing games for free. you don't need that option I have. I have chose not to mod my 360, more so because it's the only form of real entertainment I have, so if it fucks up, I want the reassurance that I can send it to be fixed. then there's the fact I want a wide range of availability in what I play. yes, new games come out, but not always GOOD games. so, if I buy a game. I want it to last until something I'm looking forward to comes out.

which is way I don't buy games that are played just once and only once (I should have known it was the case for this, since it's survival horror, but from what I read, there was more to it than just a play through and the end, I was misled) so, it's a waste of money for me and a bad investment choice, but not a bad game by all means. you would not be wasting your time.

also, the average time for bioshock was 16 hours. I beat it in 14 on easy. and around 17 on normal. that was after finding all audio logs and whatnot. not to mention the game was rented. could have been over 20 hours if I took my sweet time. dead space is about 20 hours straight thru and not trying to find every corner in the game.

If I wasn't paying for my games I wouldn't care about reply value either, as it is I pay £40 a go, so I would like to be able to come back to the game.
