This I do know. But I have to admit that, despite playing it several times, I never completed the original Zelda and I felt that was something I owed to myself. Plus it was a steal. Link To The Past is next; because everyone knows that Link's Adventure doesn't count.

I've never played the NES version, never had the system. A Link To The Past is my all time favorite game though.

Never had a Nintendo 64, so I never had the cool games like that. The only games I ever played were the Donkey Kong series on SNES.
