I did not in fact like that song they show the music video for everywhere, but I did in fact enjoy the album, I don't see what's so "gay" "shitty" "queer" "sucky" about it. I believe everyone is just watching that video and seeing how retarded davey havok looks. and what a bad choice of song to make a video to. besides that, it's a great album.

I just think a band that sells out to whatever is IN, isnt in it for the fans, they're in it for the money. They couldnt give a shit less what the fans think. And bands like that piss me off.

Oh come on 'selling out' that sounds so emo. Well done to any band that breached its target audience. Everyone wants globalisation and well done to those that achieve it.
Definition:
1. what happens when "person A" listens to an unpopular band to set themselves apart from the crowd, then that band becomes popular and all the people that "person A" hates (usually from school) enjoy that band too. because of this "person A" will get angry at their band and say they are sell outs.

I never liked AFI. All I'm saying is that they used to play shit with Rancid, and were almost a little punky. Then the punk scene almost dies out, and they move on to the next big thing, emo-screamo shit. They leave all their old fans who loved their old shit behind, and moved on to the new fans.
That's the only problem I have.

yeah I agree, if I dont like a bands new songs, I wont go off them and start bitching I would just not listen to their new stuff and listen to their old songs, the ones I like
like rancid; I can't stand some of their newer stuff, hence only listening to old stuff =]
anywho rant over; I would go out and "buy" Rated R by queens of the stoneage, its not new by any stretch of the imagination, but its a fucking good album=]
