Police hunt missing chatroom girl
Concern is growing for a teenage girl who went missing after going to meet a man she met in an internet chatroom.
Friends of Rebecca Dawson, 16, have told police she left Swindon by train last Thursday afternoon.
Officers believe she called the man in Basingstoke at 1620 BST to arrange to be picked up, but never was.
The last known call by Rebecca was to her mother on Friday to say she would be back home the following morning, but has not been heard from since.
Police say they are growing increasingly concerned as she does not know anyone in the area and has no access to money.
Rebecca is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, of medium build with short dark brown hair, normally wearing heavy dark eye make up.
It is thought she may have been wearing a short-sleeved yellow top, light-coloured trousers, large hooped earrings and carrying a JD sports bag.
