All this has happened since they first annouced they are developing "Duke Nukem: Forever"

kinda made me lol a bit cos its a strange fact but yeh......

I didn't even know this game was in development. It can't be that big a deal.

LOL at all the video game geeks with blue balls waiting for this game that'll probably never come out.

Yes, I used to be excited about this then about the 4th year into dev. I lost interest in it, plus the graphics just got way to behind.

The original duke's were sweet and this was spoused to be the great follow up to it, but well I guess no one was too motivated to finish it.

I thought the original duke nukem was cool for a lil bit, but it got boring to me fast

It's funny. I am defenitely the biggest duke fan on this forum.. spend like 7 years fucking around with duke nukem 3d.. I know all the ins and outs lol.. I remember asking for this game when I turned 12 (they said there were gonna release it back then).. I'm 19 right now. Lol ain't that funny.

But weird DNF is so much in the news lately tho.. :)

if they want it to be really successful, they're going to have to make everything about it super good (graphics, sound, etc.) like the halo series, half life series, and all recent amazing games. and that is kinda funny too, kuffi. :biggrin:

haha so offtopic but mutley your avater dances perfectly on "Dem Franchize Boyz- Ridin Rims (instrumental)"

anyway, 3DRealms is stupid. I think they started with the Half-life engine in the beginning!! Then switched to the normal UT engine but I think eventually they wanted to modify the Doom3 engine.. I can't remember but I just don't understand them.. they put (so much?) hours in previous engines which of course all costs a bunch of money that they have to make this a perfect seller in order to get it all back.. its stupid.

Well while we're all waiting for it play my standalone duke nukem 3d mod haha http://borgn.totalconversions.com

I never actually heard of ckf until I saw it mentioned on here a few times and by the sound of things its shite lol

it was cool for the veterans there, not me lol, theyve been there since 2002-2003
but its slowly losing interest and more ppl are coming here instead of there.
