Not bad, not bad.
Some bits lasted a little too long, and the rewind stuff got annoying.
But loved the jump into the tree, that was pretty big, nice work, I'll be buying your DVD but alot of the stuff like standard jumps.... are kinda annoying me now, and I used to do them and love them.

None the less good stuff.

you like to use the slo mo effect a lot don't you?

only thing I really liked was that jump up onto that building ledge and into the tree.

Thanks BaZ, and yeh I have mentioned to the crew that we should cut down on the jumping a bit. lol

Yeh, im also gonna cut down on slow motion, cos I hadn't used it in anything I edited in quite a while, just I think I over-used it a little in this scene but oh well, u learn from experience lol

Thanks for the feedback guys, every bit helps

It's not exactly the jumps themselves it's just they have been done soo much the only really entertaining ones are when they have a fucked up landing or they are just completely insane/huge, it's at that stage now, bad time to be a jumper, haha.
But yeah, they never usually get old to me, try gaining some distance?? :P

Yeh, One of the crew is currently training himself to be a freerunner, he used to do it a couple of years back and he was really good, then he gave it up and never really thought about doing it again until I mentioned that we could use it in the DVD so he is working on it again.
We could use that for some massive insane jumps or something like across buildings.

Well, either that or I'll just make em do more insane ones, the guy jumping in that video "Chris" said he'll do nearly anything I want him to. hmm...... lol

Sorry if I cause any offence guys, but I switched it off after 2 mins.

The rewind thing you did after every clip just got annoying and made me want to switch the clip off. The editing, bar a slow-mo effect and the rewind, was non=-existent.

I didn't watch it far enough to see the jump into the tree that they are talking about, but the conttent, again was not really entertaining at all.

Again, I don't like to be this harsh with videos, but I don't like to be a lier either.

No offense taken, everyone to their own tastes.
If you dont like it, you dont like it.

At least your honest. <3

And yeh the rewinding and the slow mo was a bit of an experiment. lol

I only watch the first 30 seconds. Content was weak, music was generic, and the editing was annoying.

No offense.

None taken

Everything helps us in improving, thats why I like honest people.

But also not everyone likes the same thing, some people say they love it, and some people dont like it and some think its ok, fairy nuff.

Pretty much the same as everyone else. That slow-mo/rewind effect was annoying as hell.

I'd recommend you re-edit the section if it's going in a DVD. There's no need to emphasise every clip that way. I'd use that effect once in a whole segment...if that. It did look kinda cheesy.

Comment was ok, but be more selective about what you put in there.

Yeh I made the decision to re-edit it after BaZ mentioned it, it was kinda a failed experiment the rewinding thing and slo-mo anyway. lol

Thanks anyway for the feedback mono. I'll re-edit it later and try n make it a bit better, I might also add a different clip in place of some bits and change the music.

Thank you everyone for your constructive critisism much appreciated, im gonna make it shorter, re-edit it and only use the slow mo on the tree jump, no rewinds in the whole thing.
Thanks for helping guys. Image file not present in the recovered backup

Yeah as everyone else said the slowmo was a bit irritating ,and try to sync it up more with the music
post #16

everyone else said how we all feel, a re-edit with faster cuts with the same music would be better and have some stunts build it up before the music kicks in

That one tree jump was really solid.

Okay if it was up to me I would take everything out but these clips

Tile falling onto guys head and breaking

Jump from roof onto trash can

Jump from roof to tree

And would not slo mo or reverse any of the footage.
