does anyone know how to make the file smaller but still the good AVI quailty using sony vegas 5 ?

or burn it as a DVD image and then use "DVD Shrink" to analyze and burn it to DVD, it makes it so it fits the size DVD you want :-)

Can't you export to mpeg2?

Use Adobe Encore after doing so to burn to DVD.

Aye, convert it too the DVD files... .vob.
Then just drag them in nero and burn, they will be alot more compressed but still ace quality.

I know about 20mins = 1GB in .vob.
Thats like 4GB in Avi.
