Forgot to tell about this...... Yesterday or the day before I was driving to go see my uncle who came in. He was at my grandmothers house, and he just got there from from virginia. I was on the interstate and then the car infront of me hits the breaks, at this time he is going 45-50 ish and im going 75ish and then I yell "oh shit!" and apply breaks... then the whole split second thinking starts up, and im saying "wow im now 6 feet from the car infront of me and still doing about 30 miles FASTER then him, now is the time when it is OK to hit my breaks as hard as I can on the interstate." I slam on breaks and loud screeching + smoke + screaming + cars flying by me, cars flying on the side of the road, cars blowing horns, and shit flowing into my pants at full force... it was wonderful...(I didn't really shit myself, it would be alot cooler if I did) well now im sliding uncontrolably behind this guy getting closer and closer, then BOOOM I see their heads whiplash and I feel just great about myself and a wonderful bill im paying...
I get out and walk to the car that is on the side of the road 50 yards infront of me (no damage that I saw) and there is some dude all punk rocked out and his girlfriend, he was telling me how this bitch got infront of him couldn't decide on if she wanted to get off the exit or not then slammed her breaks, then he hit his, and yeah..... But no damage at all.. we waited on his dad, who the guy said was "Anal as hell" and he was questioning and checking every inch of the car. He said "no damage that I see" ... so yeah.
I guess I was lucky.

once I had a similar incident. No boom, though. Time slows down, it's like in the matrix movies.
Some experts says that you first try to stop from high speed seconds before your death. If that was a frontal accident, you would have been killed.
Seriously, all of you, who drive, once try to stop your car from high speed using full force on the break, WHEN THERE ARE NO CARS AROUND. It is quite a thrill, the sounds, and it is surprising how long it takes, and how long the marks are that the wheels leaving on the road. It's even longer in rain, snow...

I too was very lucky recently in a car crash. you learn a lot from it.
