Just use a program like Sony Vegas.. or just about any other video editing program.

EDIT: You can download it from LimeWire, but of course.. that's not legal (yet it doesn't stop people from using it).

Im not sure how much you have played with editing programs... I know I have. And my opinion would be that at least most of edprogs cant handle divx avi (I´ve tried with Adobe Premiere7, Pinnacle9, Ulead videostudio 6 and WMM2). Also the lenght could be problem even if they could; 2hour movies could easily crash any editing prog, specially on my computer.

Do not use an editing programme, it takes alot longer than needed, you can covert in double the time.

Use WinAvi Video Converter; Click
I use it for everything.

I used "Advanced X VIdeo Converter" does pretty much all types.
Either that or I use WMM or Sony Vegas to convert to other formats. :-)

Always remember... you can convert in twice, prolly 5 times the speed using a converter...
