We're Newbies to this

Hello Everyone on The Homegrown Forums. We Are The Bomb Squad Show, a unusual group of people with a nifty ability to make people laugh (or get hurt trying). were a little group in RI. we have a comedy/improv Skit Show at this url http://www.myspace.com/the_bomb_squad_show. We have a good time taping, but sometimes we run out of ideas quick. so were were introduced to this site for Guidance from Mr. Saftey, Proffessional Idiot.

I apologize if this is long

the main thing we do are loosley scripted episodes, done skit by skit. the whole show revolves around Dirty Dan, Tom The BOmb, And I.W. (the Irish Warrior), being haunted By Dirty's Mother's Dead Ex Boyfriend Named Frank. Frank Tormented the shit out of dan while he was alive, and now that dan has his stuff "The Ghost of frank" is pissed of, and usually causes us harm. with that in mind, the show has gone in the direction of, people shitting in washers, random attacks for an invisible "1 move" Championship, ressurections of dumb ass 17 century warriors how grunts and some how everyone understands him, a wack ghost hunter w/ mental issues screaming at a tv playing the national anthem, tom the bomb being kiddnaped, and a cracked out zombie who is in love for "The Ghost of franks" "Winky", and an occasional Ninja fight, among way more other things
We are in our "second season with season 1 being 10 episodes. we fgure anyone able to help with any ideas for the show, or behind the scene thing,(good lighting, prgrams for video editing, maybe wanting to be a part of the show itself)

Hmm Watched a little of the video and almost lost my lunch.. couldnt much focus on the acting for the shotty camera work... do some editing.. oh and... dont ramble.. its not funny unless your rambleing appropriatly... "Heres the wall.. I love the wall" Is not an example of proper improv rambaling... im not telling you to quit.. im just telling you to improve... please?

P.S. Pony tails with blue mohawks went out of style in the mid 90's.. I say this for your own sake

You might wanna think about gettting some proper file hosting pretty soon, 'cause man, streaming all your videos off Myspace kinda sucks.

Plus I checked out some of the videos...I think they're like in-jokes or something, there was one 20 second clip where two guys were talking about Coventry House of Pizza, then one guy got up and hit this other guy twice in the chest...I didn't really get what the hell was happening.

It's cool though, everyone starts somewhere, hope with everyone's (except Tomm's) help you become a regular here.

To HGFers:

Bomb Squad Show is a new group.. they're not very experienced in editing yet and of course, they haven't found their "place" yet.

I told them to come here because it will be good for them to see us all in action. Like it or not, we were all at their level once.. filming things just to film. We will all learn off of each other. Some HGF groups are very experienced (and VERY talented) and some don't even have a camera yet. But no matter what group we're from.. we are all the same in one way.. we are all video production enthusiasts and some day (If BSS keeps practicing) they will find their "place".

coventry house of pizza is a pizza place in our home town..... not much of a joke let alone an inside one

Your vids seem to have no narrative, I can't figure out whts going on....add a narrative, add some camera angles and changes, use a tripod, and think a bit more about how the viewer is actaully meant to know whts going on, and then go from there.
