Yeah, you can setup a list of evil things a member can do to another member with enough points, will be quite amusing.

HGF DVD edited by one of HGF top editors, everyone submits there best footage they've posted here in the past and its alrandomly edited into a 30-40mixtape of non-stop mixups ect

money gets split a small % by groups and editor gets more and hgf makes some for compition prizes

but this idea takes effort and lets face it. everyone of us here is lazy and expects things to just happen

That'd be so cool, I should organise a section where people can upload stuff they want to be included in the DVD at high quality. We should then sell the DVD at like $8 a piece, and half of the profits can go to improving HGF and competitions, the other half can be given to the editors for their time.

Webb, would you be interested in editing?

my post edit was posted before your reply but that works too and no I cant be the editor, iv got editing projects to do here and its taking up to much of my time already, plus there is better editors here who I think could use this as a way of improving to the next level (the more you edit the better you become) id say mono would do a fantastic job of editing. he hasnt got to edit the DR dvd for half a year maybe more. we'll see what he says I dont wanna pressue him into it but he will be banned if he says no...right gaz?

we wont release our dvd soon thats for sure cause were filming for a tv show that will go on air here in israel in a month

Or then all decent editors could edit their own footage so we don't go all Moodyfied again with all participating groups being unhappy with the editing if only one person does the editing..

I'm with Ben, I think most groups would prefer it if they edited their own stuff, could be cool if everyone really worked on it.

Also, I like the idea of the HG radio, I know you can't yet but when your ready I can help out whenever....

Well, I think it's better to have about 4 editors, split up all the footage into 4 sections and get each to edit to their own style. Then another editor can mix it altogether for good finalisation.

I'll work on an upload section for this. It sounds like a great idea!

I'm gonna install a Ventrilo server for HGF later. A ventrilo server is basically VOIP where loads of people can talk to each other. Will be coolio

yeah having the 4 ediors devide the dvd up into random sections is a great idea.

5min sections. have 6main sections, left overs and face shots for intro and credits? both 2mins each, thats 35mins. fine for a forum demo dvd

well I vote VODE, EX, KUFFI,MONO & BENCKA for editing the sections. all different styles and all very good editors in there own way.

just need a place to upload it all and then the editors can pick and choose which footage they want to use in there section 1 go at a time (saying over msn) and once they have picked they delete it from server so no other editor takes it. they all take goes untill all the footage is gone,

they must be uploaded like "retardz-webby_table_flip(1)" so once on a check list they can double check noone else took that file. then they'll be on there way.

then one done, each editor takes the main groups involved and uploads footage for the intro and left over clips for the credits

also each editor is assigned to one type of different music, metal,rock,emo,hip-hop ect

everyone posts unsigned artists music for the project and say kuffi checks out all the hiphiop tracks and says which one he'll use.

yes this project will kick as if people put effort into this

I was thinking more like this:

Ask for editors, good editors get approved. We make 4 folders in a publically accessible web directory, as so:

Editorname1 Editorname2 Editorname3 Editorname4

Then we let HGF users upload their raw footage to whichever editors folder they want to edit their footage, if editornamehere likes it, they edit it. All finished editing will go in another "editor only" accessible folder. then we get another editor (editor5, the best editor on HGF prefferably) to mix all the editors work together from all the folders so it flows nicely, and we have a nice different editing style throughout the DVD. Editor5 uploads finalised content, we seek a DVD replication and printing service for cheap, sell them in an HGF store.

No one really used it, and it got lost when we moved servers.

I think the DVD is a really good idea and would like for some of our decent footage to be in there, but the quality of our vids is lower than most people so it would prolly end up ruining the DVD. If we could make it into the bonus section or something though would be great.

Basically, we'd need raw footage exported in high quality, I'm sure your camera isn't *that* bad?

Well I've never really seen the quality of our vids that much of a problem, just when I release clips here people seem to point it out, I think its because the image isn't as sharp as most vids.

EDIT: btw some parts of that vid are really white because someone fucked with the camera settings.

I'd be down with the DVD idea, but I'd say fuck money, just make it downloadable and burn copies for friends and shit. Money would just make people greedy and turn the whole thing sour.
