So I was thinking earlier about things, and was wondering if anyone here has anything that they feel they have to do or else they get bad luck or just things you do out of habit?

A couple of thing's I do sheerly from habit is whenever I drink I always drink it in 10 mouthfuls, no matter how much is there, so sometimes I take a huge mouthful or a tiny one to make up the number just to make it add to 10.

Another thing I do is everynow and then I'll get up check my back door is locked, fuck know why I do it, even if I know it's locked I'll go and check it.

So yeah anyone else got anything like this, either things like that or having to arrange things in a certain order etc.?

P.S I did a search and couldn't find anything like this, but if it has been done, sorry Image file not present in the recovered backup

All doors have to be closed.

I always believed the nature of the door was the be cloths, the hinges are just so they can open up, they shouldn't stay open it drives me crazy.

before I go out, I put my clothes in the dryer before I wear them...I hate fucking wrinkles. I call it the lazy ass ironing method.

I have minor OCD anyway.

Like Al said I need to have doors closed.

Things have to be aligned straight, I realised one day I spent 45 mins making sure all my CD's were PERFECTLY aligned.

Things have to be Colour Co-ordination and Symmetrical, I work ina night club and when we have balloons that are put up, when I do the balloons they are all the same size and HAVE to go in a certain colour order. Also the strings have to be the same standard size and my knots always leave a 1 inch bit of string on 1 side. When I dont do the ballooons and someone else does and I see how they have done them it really annoys me and I want to get rid of them and redo them.

I have loads more but I cant be arsed to type them all.

When I brush my teeth, I always brush my tongue all the way down to my throat till it makes me gag, at which point I spit out all of the flem thats just chilling down there. For some reason my mouth doesnt feel clean till I've done that.

I also used to be all obsessive compulsive about washing my clothes. I would wash my clothes and towels way more often than I should, and I would over dry the fuck out of them. I would wash clothes simply because I hadnt worn them in awhile and I wanted them to smell fresh and clean.

I dont do that anymore because now I live on my own and I have to pay to wash my clothes and it sucks. So now Im the exact opposite haha.

You guys are freaks.

I joke, I joke.

My ODC seems to have dispersed with time. Before I used to be so compulsive, I'd do things like when I pissed, bleach the toilet seat as I was afraid anyone in my family would get pregnant from possible residual cum. This sucked ass.

Secondly, I was never satisfied ANYTHING was locked up, I'd lock up at my old work and then go home, think "fuck, I'm not 100% sure I locked up properly", even though I'd checked the gate like 20 times before leaving. I'd then drive all the way back and check it.

There are a few more I'll share later too tired to type properly right now.

I always leave my house, lock the door (and I know I do) walk about 2 miles away and suddenly can't remember if I locked it and walk ALL the way back just to find out I did, but I always worry that the one time I dont check, my house will be broken into :/

thats both of mine, DVDS and CDs but its by artist/collour of album/age of the album ect, they cant touch any artists who hasnt got anything to do with them or the music, like

Redman > method man > wu-tang > ODB,
Royce 5'9 > Eminem > D12 > promatic > proof
2pac > daz dillinger > dogg pound > kurupt

same with DVDs

Bumfights > Bling Bling > Indecline
Cky > Jackass > steve-o > big brother

I cant help it and they have to match colours if they are old. and change to a different colour but the closes of it like a red then oriange then yellow...

Doesn't that annoy you. I have to have all the doors closed and locked in my house. All the lights off before I go to bed. I have to have my bedroom door closed, and my tv has to be on timer to go off in 1 hour. I have to drink a glass of water before bed, and make sure my bed is pushed up against the wall.

It annoys the shit out of me.

I have mild OCD also.

I have to always be clean. I take a shower about 2-3 times a day.

You will never see my room a mess. I always have to make my bed when I wake up before I leave my room. If someone sits on my bed, I gotta wash the covers sometimes or I just remake the whole bed.

I have to make sure everything is locked before I go to bed even though my parent's already tell me they locked everything up.

I have a few more things too that I can't think of but it's crazy.

Definition of OCD: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a brain disorder, and more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive drive to perform a particular task or set of tasks, compulsions commonly termed rituals.

Definition of a habit: A recurrent, often unconscious pattern of behavior that is acquired through frequent repetition.

No one here has OCD or you would be on pills so lets simmer down on the 'I have mental problems' here.

I dont have any habits or routines, I vary my routines from day to day or else I'd develop habbits...

hahaha don't try to be smart, OCD has many types of severeity, so unless you were nicholas cage from matchstick men, you wouldn't be on pills.

I'm a germaphob. I won't drink after anyone, I usually constantly wash my hands. I sometimes use a paper towel to open doors in public bathrooms.

and another weird thing I do is if I get in a car that has the window down, I roll it up with no questions asked. I had this recently pointed out to me.

I can confirm matt has a pretty good case of OCD, the mofo does so much shit, even when we are out he's arranging shit in "his way". crazy bitch :P anyways, I'm all good, I have no level of compulsiveness.

Basically what everyone else has said.. I cant stand the doors being open.

But I do get really annoyed if I stray from my routine .. Every morning I wake up, eat .. Cycle to co - op get an IRN-BRU go to school, cycle straight home and sit on the pc … then read and go to bed.

If that changes…I dunno I just feel as if my day was wasted .. Its hard to explain…

I also got into the habit of waking up at 5 in the morning .. Then I had 2 weeks off school .. And I cant wake up at 5anymore I just fall asleep again, that annoys me because I enjoyed having 3 hours before I go to school.

Whenever I type something, it has to be completely perfect. Like, spelling, capatalization, punctuation.

WhenI walk past traffic lights I have to press the button to annoy the fuck out of drivers.

And I also have to shut doors in any room I'm in, just like a few other members here.
