think it needs to be darker, seems to highlight bars but do they need to be high lighted?

Sweet for me, might be overkill for other people though...
Although, if we do keep it, it should be a bit darker, it looks sissy.
Or if you can't get it right darken the already dark red bars then darken the ones in between posts, if you get me.

haha for some reason when I tried to make them darker, it kept getting lighter. maybe I should have done the opposite.

I agree, but for some reason the red between post distracts me, and kinda gives a headache after a few minutes.

I say, take it and make the red almost dark enough to be black, but still noticeable to be red.
