im unsure of The Kalimar lens has a standard ser V11 thread
you recon that would fix on a mini dv?
If it's 11mm, it's probably made for actual cameras, not video cameras. Not sure what V11 means though.

Wilbur can you post a picture of your HC with the fisheye attatched?
When you said the size of the lens is that the number printed around the outside? '1.8/3-36'
It's the number with the circle with a line through it diagonally. Not sure if yours has it or not. If not just assume it's 25mm if it's similar to mine.

Webby, I can't reply to your PM, but that fisheye would be alright for the price.
I'm not sure about the glass quality though, since I've never used it.
What lens are we talking about? Or is it an auction? So you dont want competion? If so, dont post the lens. Im completely happy with my decision to get that kenko.
Stick with the kenko, it was an auction he was unsure about, but the kenko is a sure thing.

haha yeah that's the lens we had(one Wilbur has). good thing I realized how shitty the vig looked (note the pic ben posted). only plan on dealing with wide angle lenses now.
You could always zoom through the vig if it bothered you, but it doesn't show up on a TV anyways, so it doesn't bother me
