Check this out..

Early this morning at 2am I submitted a video into www.break.com called "Broken Leg on Video" to win money in their video contest.

(here's the contest rules: http://www.break.com/contest)

They say if your video makes the front page of their website, they will paypal you $250!!!

Well guess what.. It hit FRONT PAGE at 1pm today!!!


BUT, they claim it was "submitted by Break.com staff" and they're not giving me my money.

I'm going to go legal on their asses if they don't pay up!



Has anyone else had this problem?

Sue them. You should really do it. They are stealing your video for their own personal profit, and refuse to remove it. That is completly illegal.

They take my shit all the time, but they keep my website in their so I dont mind.

However, if you submitted for the contest, they owe you the money bro.

yeah, it says right there that if it gets picked, you get 250. now you can get more since they fucked you over. that video looked so painful tho.

I saw this video on thatvideosite.com the other day, I didn't know it was you guys though. That looks excruciatingly painful, and since they're trying to fuck you over you should go for more money since $250 wouldn't have even covered the guy's medical bill unless he had decent insurance.

Now what do I do?

Once a clip hits break or a few other sites it blows up...

Like for us if you type in biggest idiot of the year, tons of the clips are ours.

My fellings on sites using your shit is as long as they keep our website in it, im fine with it. If they take it out I contact them about it, 90% have been sorry and fixed it, some even wanted us to do exclusive content for them.

You could technically sue them if you really wanted to, but you would have to prove some kind of monetary losses over it.

In the end there is no point in going after sites, as long as they keep your adress in the vid, then think of it as free advertising, even if they put their shit on it, as long as yours is kept in.
