and yes that cam's been threw alot, so it's quite dirty, but it hold up real extra good...the quality is great too, check out my site videos

Should have done what I did when I made my cam's handle. You get a piece of steel, bend it to your speficcations, drill a hold in it, then attach it with a nut and washer into your tripod area.
Works like a charm and won't have that nasty look your's does.

That dock sucks though, why wouldnt they put the plugins straight to cam? To save space? Dunno... But yours cost a lto more and just has some insignificant features added
