if you can affoard the difference go with the vx 1000, much nicer design, better audio, picture quality will be better as well but not noticable.
14 May 2006, 14:58 UTC#3
are you fimilliar with the panasonic one?
I know that vx1000 is better
14 May 2006, 14:59 UTC#5
Whats the difference in price?
14 May 2006, 15:03 UTC#6
250 $
yeah I kinda figured out that the vx1000 will be better but the price...dont have right now...what about the panasonic 3ccd?
14 May 2006, 15:09 UTC#7
Better to wait it out and save the rest. You'll regret it if you dont..
14 May 2006, 15:12 UTC#8
just tell me is a used vx1000 worth 1000 $?
14 May 2006, 15:36 UTC#9
If it's in good condition and fully functioning, then yes it is.
14 May 2006, 15:37 UTC#10
yes it is
ohh and if its an ntsc and I live in europe and we use pal...will I have problems then?
14 May 2006, 15:41 UTC#11
You might, because PAL is 25fps (I think), but I'm sure you'd be able to convert it on the comp, right?
14 May 2006, 15:50 UTC#12
I guess
I read some reviews and people telling that the vx1000 is not that good in low light
is it true?
does anybody here filmed with it?
14 May 2006, 16:55 UTC#13
I think weak has filmed with it... Im pretty sure vx1000 doesnt have lcd screen? That would suck...
you could have problems with that ntsc, it would probably be pain in the ass converting all that shit. And might get some compatible problems still.... dunno not sure really.
And that paasonic looks haggard

probs wouldnt get either one.
14 May 2006, 16:57 UTC#14
Vode, you must remember the VX1000 was the first MiniDV cam, but is also the main cam of most skate filmers.
If I were you ex, I'd save up for something a little better, like a VX2000.
14 May 2006, 17:03 UTC#15
3000 $
dont have that money money
so is vx1000 dont have lcd display?
weak if you filmed with it tell me how is it
14 May 2006, 17:06 UTC#16
He'll tell you the low light sucks, because it does, but the day picture is good.
You can't buy a used VX2000 in Israel?
14 May 2006, 17:08 UTC#17

Oh, why´s that?
If I were you ex, I'd save up for something a little better, like a VX2000.
14 May 2006, 17:09 UTC#18
It's lighter, has "warmer" day colors, and a much wider death lens.
14 May 2006, 17:38 UTC#19
14 May 2006, 17:49 UTC#20
looks nice, and its hdv.

Where dude?
Post the site just incase it's one of those sites that send good camera bodies filled with shite parts that break in weeks.
But if it's on the level thats a bad ass looking camera.
14 May 2006, 17:56 UTC#22
neither, get a DVC30
14 May 2006, 18:01 UTC#23

I mean proffesionally?
14 May 2006, 18:10 UTC#24
