I've tried to make the jump here a few times but I never follow up. There are only about 2 active topics these days which is just ridiculous. I've been trying to get Admin status over there but the other two have vanished into some Admin blackhole and won't respond.
I'll always post there in some form because I have been there since the near beginning but I don't think it will ever recover. Some hilarious shit happened there though

Spent a fair bit of time over at ckf and its where I first met most of the other crews out there.

I strongly believe HGF played a huge part in the death of ckf.
With that in mind, 4 months ago I would say absolutely not. No way would it be possible for HGF to share the same fate as ckf. But then the HGV forums popped up....
Now, I'm still very confident that HGF will never flatline, but I cant say that I'm 100% positive. With Tom and all these others trying to branch out and start up their own homegrown forums and sites, anything is possible really.
Naturally, I see HGVF and any every other homegrown related forum as a potential threat, especially considering that these sites are made up entirely of OUR members. So yeah, obviously I'm going to treat these sites as threats, reguardless of how small they are. HGF started out from scatch. It was nothing 2 years ago. Look where it is today, and look where ckf is today.
Gary worked really long and really hard to bring HGF this far. It's in our best interest and our duty to maintain the quality of this place. We're not gonna tolerate those who rip us off. The HGV forums are a rip off. If you dont see that, its more than likely because you have a personal vendetta against me, just like everyone else who left HGF to go to HGV.
All the people that talk shit about this place...theyre all people who personally hate me. They didnt leave HGF because HGV was better, they left because they were rejects here that everyone talked shit to.

WD went on to being a porn site designer. I havent spoke with him directly, but he occasionally posts on an adult webmaster forum that I hang out on. I have a feeling that Jrap has some involvement in adult websites also based on his comments towards the Brandi Belle site.
They both seem like cool guys, not sure why they disappeared. They're definitely still around on the net, I guess they just turned their backs on ckf..
Anway, WD's site I believe is http://www.thumbdesigner.com - He has some contact info on there, you should try to get a hold of him to get Admin status and salvage ckf while you still have a chance..

Being honest and unbiased, HGV is mainly used for Hunt talk which is frowned on here..
