Freestyles are for gay surfboarders. Real men do tasks.
Besides, although freestyling is a good idea the faceoff has already been discussed. STFU and go the task route.

Tasks have been done to death. Everyone and there mother has done a task face off.
There is a huge anual task face off.
There has never been a Freestyle competition.

Maybe so, but that doesn't imply that a freestyle constitutes as a replacement for the faceoff. G knows this shit, the faceoff brought many new groups and people created crazy shiz.
So if you wanna run your own freestyle after the faceoff, be my guest.

Hmmm, I don't see why we can't run the HGF Faceoff now and the Freestyle later in the year, like july ish.

Either way, I would of just preferred a freestyle mixup.
I shall continue with the tasks, I'm gonna try and have around 100 done by tonight 12, GMT.

Tasked only because around here, there aint shit to do anymore. We basically used everything we could think of to do around here. When we have tasks, we actually go filming more and get more shit done.

Task based allows the viewer to see how the 'better' groups handle a task in comparisson to a 'worse' group. Its more of a test.

Why not like the last face off..
You have the tasks but people all do them in there own way. So open ended tasks.
that means we all do the same tasks but each team will do them differently making it more interesting to watch.

Id say freestyled but with around 5 -10 generall tasks tht can be inprovised or interpreted in different ways. Them 5 - 10 have to be included then its up too the group wht else they do. All videos have a guideline time of around 5 - 6 mins. Sorted. Skipper makes the call's round here. LETS ROLL!!!

Having a better idea than an other group is admirable! But there has to be some limits.. like length, maybe a theme and amount of pranks, skits, stunts.

I think on average more people wanna do it task based, so lets just do that, get some ideas.
