Godspeed You! Black Emperor

has been one of my favorite groups for years, when I was living in Montreal I listened to them pretty much every day. I honestly dont know if anyone here would like Godspeed you black emperor/A Silver Mount Zion or their many side projects but I thought Id introduce some people to an amazing band. Check em out, tell me what you think. I belive some of their shit was used to score the movie 28 Days Later

Also, the band should come with a warning. 'Rocks alot harder under the influence of drugs"

I discovered them a year or so ago after getting into sigur rós

I love Sigur Ros, Ageatis Byrjun is an amzing album, same with ( ). Sigur Ros are an EXTREMLY under rated band

no doubt, a lot of ambient/experimental bands like them are very under rated.

I've known about them for a few years now, I love them and bands alike. I hear they are anarchists. So they don't care if you download their music or anything like that.

no band should care, they only get a small small percentage of the cd sales anyway.

I used to listen to 'Sunshine and Gasoline' non-stop when I would play Tetris in the HGF arcade. They're a good band.
