This is a very important issue that affects all of us. Certain Telecom companies such as Comcast and AT&T are pushing a law that would abandon Net Neutrality. Net Neutrality keeps these companies from deciding what sites are best for you, basically lack of Net Neutrality would let them block sites that they do not want you to see and make a site load faster or slower depending on how much money the site pays. This has already happened in Canada. Last year, Telus -- Canada's version of AT&T -- blocked their Internet customers from visiting a Web site sympathetic to workers with whom the company was having a labor dispute. And Madison River, a North Carolina ISP, already tried to block its customers from using any competing Internet phone service.
This is an outrage. This is a violation of our rights, we must band together to tell our representatives "NO!" Go to this site and learn how to help keep our internet free from corporate control.
