WMV V9.

512KBPS - Good choice for lengthy videos, keeps the file size down and the quality is decent.
1MBPS - Great choice, perfect for online clips you get good quality and also decent file size, prolly your best choice.
2MBPS - Perfect quality, the highest you will need, for online clips, not a good choice for long lenghty videos as the file size will get pretty high.

No need too use anything higher (3mb... you won't notice any difference from 2mb, seriously)
Using anything lower than 512kbps will make your videos look shit.

This is in WMM, right?

If so, you should be able too select "custom settings" or something, where you can just choose the file size which best suites you.
As you lower/higher the file (Mb/Kb) in the bottom left corner you should see the "bit rate" highering/lowering as you adjust the file size, obviously the bit rate represents the Kbps/Mbps.

That should help ya.

You've gotta be doing something wrong.

The video is 2:11 mins you say?

I'd recommend you cancel, that can't be right.
Or, do this:

Go to the folder where your saving the file, and just have a look how big it is (MB) so far and then see how much % it has rendered in Vegas.

Then tell me, if the file size is huge and your only at like 10% you might aswell cancel.

Cancel what ?

He's rendering a vid.

Matt, I dunno what the problem is, it should take no more than an hour, and even at that it would be going slow.

You must of done something wrong.
If you wan't print screen me the exact same settings you used when you rendered it? like before you clicked save...
