Previous Spiegal Report - Jan 2006

Well today it's been uncovered that a hell of a lot of Polish fans are planning to cause huge fights at the Germany World Cup, specifically targetting English and Turkish fans. Just saw an interview with an annonymous Pole fan who is part of it, basically the reason he gave is "English...she think she tough....but she is weak....we prove that".

8 people have been stabbed at Polish football matches this year.

It's expected that 100,000 English fans will attend the World Cup, making them the largest group of foreign fans there.

This should be fun to watch. Neo-Nazi skin-heads vs beer-chugging Brits. The Poles are gonna get fucked. They march around doing the football hooligan thing, thinking they're all tough. Don't they know that we invented that? One of the worst traits of the English is that they're extremely arrogant. If they get insulted, they will fuck people up.

On the other hand, Poles have had to live through occupation and the Soviet Union. Decades of living under people like Frito will turn anyone into an unstable, violent person, so they'll give as good as they get.

Even so, my bets are still with the English (and I garuantee that there will be bookies taking bets on the outcome of fights). With the largest foreign presence, and the history of being drunken thuggish twats in foreign countries, methinks the lads will do us proud.

I'm looking forward to the World Cup, and not because of the football.

Football fans suck big time, when one of the opposite teams players does an awesome trick/goal, like, they all booo! There's just no respect shown for a great piece of "football." But I guess that's just how it is in alot of actual good sports.

Looking at the size of England and knowing that we will be brining the largest amount of fans is unreal, it's a shame they can't just enjoy "the beautiful game"

Also, being in a mad riot full of English hooligans is nothing funny, it prolly wouldn't scare me as much now but I was about 8 at the time and there where bottles being thrown everywhere, cars being flipped, of course; fights, choaches being smashed up and loads of other crazy shit.
It was Wigan v Millwall and it was insane, since we where like in division 3 back then there where no cameras or news reporters around... you should of seen it, people died from being drowned, and tons wounded. If there was no police there fuck knows what would have happened, only half of the fans their actually got too each other, luckily it got under control before it really kicked off. The game was a draw too, I think, soo they basically just wanted too fight, fags.

I wish it would happen again now, I'd soo film it!

But to a hardcore football fan it is not just about the game. Its about being a fan and loving your team. Also some people love the fights and its the best part of the game. Sounds stupid to some but its what they love.

Heh my Dad was in a Millwall riot a few years ago. He said it was one of the weirdest experiances of his life. People he'd been having a casual drink with hours before turned into total nutters. He ducked a thrown brick and the guy behind him got it in the face.

yeah man. And most the people who get involvedall want to be doing it. Its not like most just kick the crap out of anyone...

I think there great fun to watch myself. I live in Bristol and theres rovers and City, well this guy walked into a rovers pub with a city top on... shouted "We love your City" and some guy smashed a bottle in his face. Best and most scary thing I have seen.

GSE GSE GSE GSE GSE GSE GSE GSE GSE GSE GSE GSE GSE...

But seriously that's why I like rugby, you get no fucking moron chav twats that don't have the mental stability to go to a sporting event and not kick up a fight. it's not about passion as doyle said it's a twisted view on that. You fight people for your reputation? What the fuck is taht about, sometimes I wish the police didn't step in so they can all just fuck each other over and leave it at that.

Hooliganism in sports is unecesary and takes focus away from the true values of the game. Along with racism and any other forms of abuse in sport. I think it's ok to take the piss out of someone when the do something bad and get pissed off when you love because that's gamesmanship but physically asaulting someone just because of their preferences is comeplety ridiculous...

It's not our fault that their military consisted of three old men and a carrier pidgeon.

This is what goes on every world cup. I just don't pay attention to football and just watch Green Street.

It makes everything makes sense.
