Do you believe in natural selection?

For those of you who don’t know;

Natural Selection-is the process in nature by which, according to Darwin's theory of evolution, only the organisms best adapted to their environment tend to survive and transmit their genetic characteristics in increasing numbers to succeeding generations while those less adapted tend to be eliminated.

What does that mean exactly? It means that characteristics best suited for that environment are carried out through species that survived with those traits.

It’s called Macroevolution and it basically proves why we shouldn’t give two shits about pollution.

If the “Green House” effect actually does cause the polar ice caps to melt resulting in the gradual increase in water, or the ozone layer to become non existent resulting in more heat and less oxygen, we will adapt to that.

We will adapt through out time gradually as these events take place to require less oxygen and so on.

So we are wasting our time trying to cut down on pollution, and not only that, spitting in Mother Nature’s face.

Have we as humans’ become so arrogant we believe we’re going to save the “Eco-System”, when as the Eco-System ever needed our help? It’s the god damn Eco-System it’s been around longer than humans.

What makes us qualified to try and save it, it’s like a child trying to stop himself from growing up.

Just because the Eco System is changing doesn’t necessarily mean it’s getting worse? It’s just different to us and as humans we think it is worse.

So all you tree huggers, hippies, naturalists, and hybrid drivers should all grab an aerosol can and spray it as high as you can into the ozone layer and celebrate the beauty of evolution and Mother Nature.

There is no real proof of Global Warming, it was a scare to help people boycott gas back in the day because the prices were so high. Same with why they tried to convince people to walk not drive because it was healtier and cleaner for the enviornment.

Look at us so far? We less body hair, thinner skulls, no use for the appendix or wisdom teeth and are taller. And that was in a relativly short time this all took place.

I understand what you're saying, but I also believe that we won't adapt as quickly as things change. I mean, I don't think it will happen within our lifetime for sure. But it takes hundreds of years to evolve.

It sounds likemost of those changes came from the other genes dying out. Like the brighter fish got eaten first leaving mainly bland fish which then means there would be an abundance of bland scaled alleles hanging about. Certain humans aren't going to live out others when this shit gets really bad we'll all most likely go at the same stage. The green house effect is acting at a much higher rate than evolution dude, the green house effect may take a few hundred years but evolution takes thousands, even millions.

Evollition takes a long time. Were changing the ozone too quick. I understand your points though but there not based on facts.

And why cant we just live in the world we have for all this time? Why do we need to make nature change just so we can drive cars and fly on holiday all we want? Humans dont have the right to say what lives andwhat died just for our convenience.

First evolution is this simple.

If the the only humans that survived the second Ice Age (hypothetical) were these people that had a gene that made it easier to live in colder and colder climates. Other humans would die off and they would stay around. Lets say they were black midgets with one eye. Man kind would evolve into Black Midgets with one eye because they survived.

So as the green house effect gradually takes ahold on us, certain humans will die out leaving the ones better built for the new climate around to reproduce similar offspring.
