I looked for a topic like this but I never found a poll. So here it is, because I am interested to know.
Post the console you like the most, and give a reason why. PS3 isn't an option because it isn't out yet, and speculation is never accurate.

I said SNES because all the originals like Super Mario and Mario Kart started off here. And in that sense, it is unmatched.

Mine is N64! Mainly because it had the best multi player games like Goldeneye and Mario kart (Loads more).
I also love my PS1 as it had all my Final Fantasys

SNES is just timeless. I got a shitload of roms on my computer that could easily make awesome and playable games today if they were upgraded with modern technology.
Plus there's just the memories...first video game console...playing until my eyes burned...happy, happy days.

None of those. The computer is the best for gaming. Better graphics, better games, and more capabilities.

Yeah I was gonna say PC just for the fact you can get emulators for almost all of the consoles he mentioned.

Thats why it had Console in the title. PCs are better but a Console is always good as its just for games and not that big... Plus you dont always have to update

A Video Game Console and a PC Game Console are 2 different things.
-- PC game console, a game command-line user interface element originated in Quake
-- Video game console, a specific device for playing video games

Because a Console is just something for games. It is just gfx based and will run anything made for it.
A PC can do about anything and run different OS's. Also needs to be updated to play newer games.
A pc is great for gaming though! Just its not a Console

N64. Purely for 4 player golden eye and mario kart. Had the best years of my life on them games...back when everything seemed sooooo easy.

SNES is great but I voted for Sega Master System, I got mine from the brother of the guitarist of "Culture Club" (Boy George's band) and I sold it for £2 to my neighbours when I was about 8 or so and now we hate them and I cant get it back :-(

Ps1 could potentially be a second or third... behind SNES and N64. I am a retro kinda guy when it comes to gaming.
