hey there

well I need some info about this unusual os Windows XP Professional x64 Edition

I need to know whom it for and if my pc will handle it

intel pentium 4 3000 mhz, 512 ram and geforce 6600 256 mb

this is mainly a question to people that understand in those things

please guys help me as fast as you can this is very important for me

I dont have a dual processer

can I still use it?

cause my xp sp2 is shit

got some much problems with it and stuff

and sp1 is the same

I need a good os to handle video editing, 3d animation and visual effects

any recommendations?

People always reccomend OSX for editting but I dont know if there is any truth in that.

As for needing a dual processor im not sure .. might run anyway.

I thought a 64 bit was the same as a dual processor, I just got owned

so can I run the windows?

You need a 64 bit processor, and I think that that is one. I would definetly wait for Windows Vista because there are many driver compatability issues with hardware and software with the XP x64
